Giving Thanks

Happy Hump Day all!

Thanksgiving is easily my favorite holiday of the year. Why? Because for me there is nothing like spending the day with my family. Growing up, I wasn’t close to my siblings but as we’ve matured our relationships have changed which is something I’m very grateful for.  Unfortunately my relationship with my older sister isn’t where it should be  but I love her and will always be thankful for her guidance because without it I wouldn’t be where I am today.

I’m enormously thankful for the wonderful relationships I have with my BFF and my closest gal pals who always keep me grounded and have been there through the rough times. My BFF and I have been sister friends for over 20 years.  She is my biggest champion and cheerleader.    I’m truly blessed to have such an amazing BFF and group of extraordinary women as  friends.

I’m also thankful for the close bond my nephew Frederick and I have. To watch him mature and grow over the years has been inspiring.  Frederick is my heart and my hero.

What are you thankful for?

Have wonderful Thanksgiving!

  1. I have way too much to be thankful for to put it into a little comment box! I have been keeping an online Gratitude Journal blog for almost two years, and I write 3 things on it every day. (Although I think I might have missed a day or two over that time.)

  2. I am very Thankful to God for my health & strength; for my family & friends that have kept me grounded. But most of all, I am thankful for my only child who is such a blessing to me.
